just to say hello

It has been aged, since I write something...
There are and were many things to do and the 24 hours seem too short.
Looking through my daily window, I know life is not that easy. Responsible and to be responsible are tough, when the going gets tough , the tough gets going...
There are too many things playing around my head, and I am the one who wants to be Mrs Perfect and it kills me softly... the perfection I long for...
My daughters are growing direct in front of my eyes, God is great, that proves , when they start to argue with me, when they seem not to agree, that may be sign of growing out???
Wish and hope for the best, I want them to be the perfect twins...want them to get hold of the stars...
There are too high up there, nothing is impossible if Allah wills, their journey is still far ahead , one day insyaAllah

THE DIARY OF A YOUNG GIRL - ANNE FRANK

Currently reading... will update soon, after I force myself to finish it...
After a few pages, if we think our life is that difficult, complaining after not getting something we want, angry with small little things, fed up with others around, thinking that we are the unlucky one, asking why should it be like this and not like what we want... than we should read the book, and thank God that we are born now and not in those years where life was not that easy. Meaning we are all born in the right time, right place and we are the one who make it wrong... LIFE is not that difficult actually...

I'll update after I finish it... :)

THE 13 TREASURES... by MICHELLE HARRISON

My dear Yaya, she loves reading, that's good but buying her, small, thin books are considered problems to me, as she read them too fast. I mean I just couldn't cope with buying her books, every week. So decided to buy her thicker books, and the first one, which she felt in love not at the first sight was this book the 13 Treasures, why I bought it at the  first place, it is thick ;), and she loves fantasy... it comes from me :).
some wonderful sentences from it... and I did ask her, what are the 13 treasures, to test her whether she really read the book...and they are really interesting, and I would read it next... if only :)
 do you believe in fairies?
1. The Halter, a ring that makes its wearer invisible
2. Glamour, a mask of illusion to fool an onlooker as long as one wish
3.The Light, a magic candle that would never diminish
4. The Sword, which would allow only victory and never defeat
5. The Book of Knowledge, would answer any questions
6. The Key, that would open any door to other worlds
7. A Goblet, to bestow eternal life on any who should drink from it
8. A Platter, that would remain full never allowing its owner to go hungry
 9. A Staff, for strength
10. the Dagger, dripping blood that could heal any wound
11. A Cup of Divination
12. A Heart of courage
13 and the Cauldron, which could restore the death to life.

WOW those are tempting, don't they, LIFE does make people greedy and ever are  not satisfied, which what we are or what we have....
My dearest YAYA... keep reading and along the way of your LIFE of reading you'll be passing through wonderful experience, where money can't buy.... That's part of LIFE...
THE MALAY KENDURIS...Today I attended two Malay "kenduri"s... one in Titi Gantung and the other one in Sungai Galah. ( Perak does have lots of  towns with funny names, perhaps due to their own personal histories. Have to investigate these one day). Back to the story of the kenduri. The first one was a modern kenduri, whereby they catered the food, everything was ready and by the end of the time stated in the card, everything will be cleaned up as soon as possible. The second one was a kampung kenduri. They cooked, prepared everything together. Some did look pale and tired during the kenduri, may be because of all the hard work before. At the end they had to wash so called periuk belanga, should be tiring. Over and above both couples got married, we received goodies, with different contents and packaging, thought does count :)... Personal view : Why do people who did all these kenduris have to spend so much, and the end the product is still the same. Better save for the next life, the reality after the kenduri.. it is not that easy the real LIFE I mean...
LIFE GOES ON...AGE TOO...Today as I looked into the mirror, I saw those wrinkles around the eyes, ignoring those and saying to myself," lack of sleep maybe"... than started combing my hair, and those grey beautiful hair, were glaring at me, in between those dry, boring hair of mine. That's the reason I love to pin them together, the bun suits me better nowadays. Youngsters do have grey hair too, chemical in shampoos, colored hair, global warming, the weathers etc... thousand of possible reasons to disbelief what I am suppose to...
Than, today I attended one of my beloved student's in SEMESTI wedding. 11 years ago if I am not mistaken, he was in form 4, calculated, he should be around 27 by now. Than there were Ilya, hubby and sweet daughter ( so called SEMESTI grandaughter to me, as I call myself granny SEMESTI).. these are all real proves to say YES I am getting older!

That is the beauty of life :)

Nana's story telling... she won :)

A TALE OF TAILS

A very good morning to the honorable judges, teachers, ladies and gentlemen and all my dear friends. Today I would like to tell you an interesting story entitle A TALE OF TAILS.
One sunny day, there was a cheeky monkey, named Lola, playing happily with her friend, Chicka, the chimpanzee. They were talking and laughing as they were having so much fun together. Suddenly… as they were busy playing, Chicka, the fat chimpanzee, accidentally stepped on Lola’s tail.
“Ouch!” said Lola. “You are hurting me”
“What did I do, Lola?” asked Chicka.
“You step on my tail, ouch, ouch, ouch!            ””, said Lola painfully.
“Why do you need a tail, doesn’t it disturbs you, such a long and funny looking thing. It must be miserable for you to carry it everywhere, ha, ha, ha.”Said Chicka, with a teasing voice.
Lola is angry. She said, “No, Chicka, my tail is very important to me, it helps me a lot. Let’s go and see our friends. They will tell you the important of our tails. Come on!”
So. Lola and Chicka walked deep, deep inside the jungle.
“We walk to the left, and we walk  to the right, we walk and we walk, we walk till night”, they sang happily together.
 Suddenly, it started to rain.
After a few minutes, they met Tutty, the squirrel.
“ Ehem… ehemm..Good Morning, Tutty. What are you doing? What is that funny, furry, looking thing on your head”, asked Chicka.
“ Hi, Lola, Chicka. Can’t you see that it is raining? This is my umbrella; I carry it everywhere with me.”said Tutty.
“WHAT?”, asked Lola.
“This is actually my tail, in rainy days; I curl my tail up over my head. Then I’ll flick it to shake off the raindrops. See I don’t have to carry an umbrella everywhere. “Answer Tutty proudly.
Later they saw Spiky, the porcupine. It was walking very slowly, Spiky can’t run very fast. As they approached him, Chicka asked,” Hello, Spiky, why are you swinging back and forth? Ouch! You are hurting me, what are those sharp things at the back of your body? Screamed Chicka.
“What are you doing here, both of you, please don’t disturb me. If I am afraid, I will swing my tail, it is covered with sharp quills. It protects me a lot. I really love my tail”, said Spiky, as he started to swing his tail again. Chicka and Lola ran quickly.
Later, they were startled by a snorting sound. It was Mrs. Kinga, the deer. She was busy looking for her daughter. She raised her tail, and leaped away. Her tail is brown on top and white underneath. Suddenly, she raised her tail. They were shocked to see the white fur shone.
“What in the hell is that?” asked Lola.
Mrs. Kinga smiled and answered. “Children, my tail is very important to me. It is like a signal. When another deer sees the white tail, they follow the first one to safety. As I am looking for my daughter, my tail is helping me too.”
It was getting dark, the rain started to pour heavily. Chicka and Lola ran quickly. They did not know that the path ahead was slippery. Lola ran fast and Chicka was quiet slow as she was fat.
PRANG! Chicka fell into a hole, deep, deep, dark hole.
“Help! help!, Lola, Lola, help me!”Chicka cried for help.
It was getting darker and darker. Thunder and lightning were clapping and screaming loudly. Chicka started to cry, she was actually a coward.
“Chicka, Chicka, where are you? asked Lola, frightened.
“Lola, Lola! Here down here, to your left!” Lola searched and looked everywhere. After a while, she saw Chicka in the hole. She did not know what to do, than she remembered her most important thing.
“Here, Chicka grasp my tail; hold on tightly, I’ll try to pull you up. As hard as she could, Lola whole on to a big branch with both her hands and pull Chicka with her tail.
“One, two, three, pull!” Lola saved Chicka with her tail. She was glad, as Chicka was her best friend.
“Lola, now I now the wonder of tails, your tail saved my life!”
As conclusion friends, many animals depend on their tails. They are very useful to them. Thank You. I hope you enjoy my story. Don’t ever step on animals tails!
